a day in a month…

a day in a month which started off at 5.30 in the morning as my alarm rang very close to my ear. i had no other option but to dismiss it and go back under the quilt only to realize that it was still raining and i was getting late for work.

in less than 30 minutes, i am off to work with dark clouds above me and a drizzle making a spotted design on my shirt. managed to get hold of a taxi which is very tough in this part of the world and another half hour in the taxi would take us to our work place.

the first thing you do as you switch on the monitor is to open outlook and see who has sent you a mail. today there has not been much of this activity as well, guess a lot of them are not working especially when the climate outside is good to go back to bed. i personally don’t like this climate, it makes me feel really lazy. πŸ™‚

half the month of the first year is gone as i look at the calendar trying to schedule a meeting. today has been such a slow day at work. its been raining cats and dogs here for the past 3 days.. i wonder why people use cats and dogs πŸ™‚ haven’t seen any of them fall in the past three days.. anyways.. its been a real mess here with continuous rains.. thats too in a desert.. as of now rains seems to have stopped and the sun is slowly uncovering itself from behind the clouds. the share market too seems to be in a very bad mood today πŸ™‚ having its low. hope to see it back in its form in a couple of days…

still have another 2 hours more in the office after which i will hit home.. and nature in its own way has given me a lot of work for the day. the rains have managed to make the room i stay in seem like an island with the bed surrounded by water. the breeze outside makes you freeze making you feel that you still have a spine as you stand outside shivering waiting for the taxi πŸ™‚

i am kinda feeling hungry at the moment.. wonder whats cooking for dinner πŸ˜€ guess i will stop now and go back to work πŸ™‚ adios
